Survey: A=?

I've had the next post typed for a while already, but I think it would be more meaningful if I posed this question to you first:
What would it take for you to see a dream as a reality?*
Or, for the more visual among you:

P.S. Sorry about sporadic absences, for those of you actually following here. Blogger has not been kind to me lately. Also experiencing lapses of inspiration...
* Pardon the poor wording and bear with me, please.

If you mean what would it take to make a dream into something real, then hard work, realllly hard, sustained work on my part and a lot of hope that outside factors over which I have no control, which could get in my way, will not throw me any curve balls.

If, on the other hand, you mean what would it take to realize that a dream, or part of a dream, already coincides with and is part of reality, it would take being willing to accept that part of a dream is better than nothing.

I'm not either sure what you mean. Do you mean what would it take to make a dream come true?

I guess it would depend on the dream. ;-) For example, my winning-the-lottery dream would require buying a ticket as the first step, but I'm too cheap for that. After that it would require lots of luck. Maybe that's why I don't bother.

Otherwise, I agree with ProfK. It's always work, prayer, and luck.

It helps if your dreams aren't clearly defined. Then, anything that remotely resembles one is good enough.

What they said.

It helps if your dreams aren't clearly defined.

Amen to that - the more overly specific your dreams, the less likely you can be happy with anything else. The phrase "beyond your wildest dreams" can never happen if you're too driven toward only specific dreams.
