Does this make you nervous? I haven't decided what I think yet...

This post..goes hand in hand with my post...
The world seems to be in an awful hurry to get somewhere...

interesting...

dunno. i'm not exactly nervous. this is life, and life changes along with the world.

I don't (at least I try not to) worry about things I can't do anything about anyway.

Coolness...

It seems more exhilarating than scary in a way...

Guess this means life isn't planning on slowing down any time soon :( Find is rushing for no reason.

In a way it's exciting... but it all seems so out of control. Everyone's caught up with progress to the extent that they no longer ask "Why?"

Think about the qualities in life that have been lost so far... and how we will hold onto them if things keep going this way...

But what about the quality of life that has been so much enhanced? It's a HUGE loss that many values and morals have been eradicated and stepped on, but we also have to focus on the amazing things that modern technology has given us...our health for one...
That's not to say one cancels the other out, but it's still good to notice the good even through the bad...

Life is change. No reason to be frightened. Roll with the punches, adapt, and things'll be ok.

I watched that entire thing actually, lol. the world is advancing at a scarily rapid rate. I really don't know.

The question posed in the slideshow is a serious one: How do we prepare ourselves and our children for such an unstable world?

The other part that concerns me is the investment in the virtual world. The statistics about video games, for example, and myspace. We're drifting farther and farther away from reality just when we most need the opposite. Consider the way we've all become so attached to our little blogosphere. I view it as a good thing, but... where is this going?

I agree with CP. You've also got to remember this was put together as a propaganda piece, therefore even if most of the statistics are accurate, they should be taken with a grain of salt. Also, a lot of statistics they mentioned weren't as impressive as they seemed. all it takes is a click to create a number when it comes to the web. think of blog hits.

back to the point. I liked the video, but i think it could have been used for a much more meaningful message. can't think of one. maybe one of you can.

it scares me a bit! Our world is becoming this futuristic creepy planet and I can feel it happening all around me.
