Just curious-- why does my other blog get so few comments? It seems to me much more thought-provoking than this one. Feedback, anyone?

People post when there's controversy. If its just going to be a dvar torah, you're not going to get as many comments! I have a friend who posts lots of divrei torah on his blog, but he also has other, random things, totally not related to Torah or Judaism. With that kind of mix of posts, he gets consistent readers, so those who comment on the other random stuff will also comment on the divrei torah.
time and time again it has been proven that the deeper, better posts get less comments :) its one of those blogging mysteries :)
m00ks--Yes, but zero?! ONE?!
Aishel-- My Torah Thoughts aren't just divrei Torah. They're my personal thoughts, and I don't think they're too stereotypical.
"Half Baked" sounds way cooler than "Torah Thoughts."
:P
Seriously, I agree with aishel.
umm what other blog?
ohhh I see now..
well I'll be honest with you..when I want a Dvar Torah I just go t my bookshelf where I have lots of sforim and get one from the source.
I rarely go to blogs for divrei torah unless theres some originality and a twist supplied by the blogger.
I agree with David. When I need a Dvar torah, blogs aren't my source!
OK, I hear. Torah Thoughts does sound rather like just more divrei Torah that you can find on a bookshelf. In fact, a while after I created the blog, I discovered about five others by the same name. I want to be different.
So it's time for a title change. Any suggestions? A lot of good ones are already taken...
BTW, have any of you actually read my "Torah Thoughts?" Because if you did, you'd find that I only posted ONE plain dvar Torah since my revival in December. And even that was open to discussion.
Lets see, a title. hum, how about, "My Jewish thoughts, welcome to my mind"
I actually just checked it out...and its more than just torah thoughts...
Theyre actually quite original and good
soo..my humblest apologies..
most people read enjoy but don't bother to comment and acknowledge.
I liked the post about sending a kvitel to Miron and i did comment,. check it out
Thanks David, Noch.
I thought of one: How do you like "Knaidel Soup for the Soul"?
Interesting.
Gotta sit on that one for a little while.
How about.."a knaidel a day.....or two"
or three
